The Story

Before there were apps, there was the list.

funkyelite.com was London's original online guest list portal. Hand-built in the late ’90s — sliced Photoshop graphics, table layouts and all — it put the city's most sought-after club nights one form away.

Mondays at 10 Rooms. Tuesdays at 57 Jermyn Street. Wednesdays at Aura and the Hanover Grand. Thursdays at Pangaea and China White. Fridays at NYT, Attica, Tokyo Joes, The Mayfair Club and the Ministry of Sound. Saturdays: a warm-up at The Saint Bar, then Tantra, Café de Paris and its basement room, Rex, the CC Club and Elysium. Sundays back at Aura. If your name was on the funkyelite list, you were in.

Then → Now

Two decades on, most of those doors have closed for good — but the nights behind them haven't been forgotten. This site keeps the story alive: the venues, the photography, the whole era, preserved from the original archive.

And it's not just a museum. The FunkyElite name is being reimagined — same spirit, rebuilt for now.
